Meet our team
Sunshine Supported Holidays is run by Michelle.
Michelle is the travel and holiday expert and is responsible for all of the administrative management of the company including arranging all travel and bookings. Michelle previously worked for a UK based tour operator and has over eight years experience of providing villa holidays on the Costa del Sol. Michelle is fluent in Spanish and has lived in the Nerja/Torrox area of the Costa Del Sol for many years. She has a detailed knowledge of all the best places to visit and enjoy.

We at Sunshine Supported Holidays pride ourselves on the dedication and care provided by our qualified team who between them have many years experience in nursing and looking after adults with mild/moderate/severe learning disabilities ensuring they have a wonderful time and all their support needs are met. All our staff will go the extra mile to make everyday a great day , hence our guest’s wanting to come back again and again.

Sandra started her career in 1999 as an Auxiliary Nurse and went on to gain her NVQ levels 1, 2 and 3 in nursing. Soon after, she decided to take an advanced course at Hatfield University for a further year.

Sandra was also a 'West Herts Nursing Employee of the Month', she later moved into the private sector and worked for the Harley Street Group of companies before continuing her nursing here in Spain.
She has received specialist training and qualifications in:

Fire, health and Safety.
Medication Administration.
ECG (Electrical cardiograph recording).

A qualified team... Penny
Penny has worked in Shropshire Community Health and Mental Health Service NHS Trust since 1980 as a Nursing Auxiliary and has 27 Years nursing and care experience

Penny's job was based on a 25 bedded rehabilitation ward and also on a 18 bedded EMI ward. Penny had responsibilities to implement all aspects of care including, personal hygiene, toileting, moving and handling, ensuring all dietary requirments for patients were met, also programmes of care including occupational activities and rehabilition. Penny ensures a high standard of nursing care also regarding the patients, dignity and confidentiality at all times.

Penny has achieved NVQ Level 3 (senior level) in Care. She has received specialist training and qualifications in:
